At David Perry™, we approach engagement design with the utmost care and appreciation. An engagement ring is more than a piece of jewelry—it is a symbol of bond and kinship, and we are honored to be part of that journey.
Our process begins with a one-on-one conversation between our clients and founder and designer, David Perry. Through this personal consultation, David takes the time to understand your story, your inspiration, and the unique style you wish to capture. Together, you'll explore important details such as metal type, center stone selection, gemstone color (if applicable), ideal carat size, and budget.
From that initial conversation, our team carefully sources stones that meet your criteria, while also presenting options that may push the creative boundaries. Every stone we present is IGI or GIA certified. If side stones are essential to your design, we will provide carefully curated options for you to choose from.
Once a center stone is selected, a deposit of 50% of the total ring cost secures the stone as yours. From there, David personally sketches design concepts to be reviewed and refined with your input.
Upon approval of the sketches, we proceed to 2D CAD renderings, detailing the exact specifications of your piece—center stone size, side stones, band shape, setting style, and any custom detailing. This stage provides a precise visual representation of your finished ring. We offer two complimentary rounds of revisions to ensure your vision is captured perfectly. Additional revisions are available for a fee of $350 per round.
Once the design is finalized and approved, we proceed to production, which typically takes 3–4 weeks.
The entire process, from your first consultation to the delivery of your custom ring, takes approximately 4–6 weeks.
